More Fruity Grotesqueness

Tonight t made bananas... On the pottery wheel.

For this process, I started with a cone of clay, centred as if to make a bowl.

But the center hole went all th way to the bottom. The clay ring was expanded, then split almost through.

Each side was raised, then they were pushed together to make a hollow ring. The hollow ring was removed from the wheel and cut in two parts, where we experienced the miracle of banana birth!
